Upon graduating cosmetology school, I was recruited to work for a product company! Of course, I thought that meant being a stage artist but alas it meant cold calling salons to sell hairspray and shampoo. I was terrible! But while in a little 1200 sq. ft. hair salon on the Richardson/Dallas border I hit it off with the owner and within a month I owned it. My family was not very happy since I had never kept a job over 6 months. Almost 30 years later and 3 moves, I can officially say I love what I do and it rarely feels like work.
